2011 now seems most likely Option for Royal Wedding

William and Kate are said to be reluctant to marry in 2012. The wedding would compete with the London Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. The following year, 2013, has been ruled out as “unlucky”. That leaves 2011 as the most likely option for William and Kate. Palace officials have earmarked next year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand as the perfect “honeymoon” for the new princess. more

Royal Family discusses Timings of Engagement and Wedding

According to “OK”, the Prince of Wales held a discreet meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton to discuss the delicate subject of timings over their engagement and wedding. The five-day “summit” took place between Christmas and New Year at the Prince’s Scottish retreat, Birkhall, while Camilla was away in London visiting her children. Although Kate has met Prince Charles on several occasions, it was the first time she had spent any time with her future father-in-law. more

Kate takes Brithday Tea with the Queen

Kate Middleton is expected to celebrate her 28th birthday by joining Prince William on a trip to Sandringham to see the Queen. They will spend part of the weekend at the Royal Family’s Norfolk estate amid mounting speculation that they will soon announce their engagement. However the celebration will probably not be the wildest party they have ever been to.

According to Richard Eden form the Telegraph, Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken on a wedding planner. Sarah Sienesi, a “wedding and event consultant”, has quietly been appointed as a lady-in-waiting to the Countess of Wessex.
She is an old Fulham flatmate of the Earl of Wessex’s wife from the days when the countess was a PR executive known as Sophie Rhys-Jones. more

Courtiers are already briefed to start working on a Royal Wedding

The Mail on Sunday has been told that a wedding is now being openly talked about at Buckingham Palace and early-stage talks are under way to dovetail William and Kate’s wedding with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Plans are well advanced for the Jubilee celebrations, although this is the first time there has been any suggestion of William and Kate marrying in the same year.

Kate leaving for Job in New York

Kate Middleton will leave England for the Big Apple in January for a job with top fashion photographer Nikolai von Bismark. The couple will spend the traditional Christmas together with the rest of the royal family at Sandringham before she she jets off to New York. more

More Hints for Wedding in June 2012

Jules Knight, a university friend of Wills and Kate, has revealed that he was told they want to wait with the wedding until William turns 30 and has finished his RAF duties. According to him Kate is fine with this. Until then Prince William will use the time to get as high up as he can in the military. Jules also mentioned that he might be invited to play with his band at the wedding. More.

2012 – Finally a Wedding Date for Kate and Wills?

According to recent rumors, Kate Middleton and Prince William have made a pact that they wont get married until 2011. But this will change when the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, which according to the rumors will also be the year when the couple finally gets married. William is said to be working on a route map to the altar togehter with his advisors and his father Prince Charles.

Prince William is too busy for marriage

Prince William has ruled out any wedding plans for next year because he is too busy training to become a rescue pilot and doing official business. Two official tours will take him to Australia and South Africa in 2010, where he will attend the World Cup as Presedent of the FA. more
