Since Prince William and Kate Middleton announced they were getting married this spring, a host of celebs have been begging for an invite to the wedding. P Diddy, JLS and Nicole Scherzinger have expressed their desire to attend the celebration. Peter Andre and Serbian Crown Prince Alexander II even claim they already are on the list. Michael and Carol Middleton, the parents of Kate Middleton, spent the weekend at Balmoral, Prince Charles’s private residence on the Queen’s Scottish estate. The invitation fuels speculation that the younger couple are poised to announce their engagement after an eight year courtship. An insider commented “This is the Middletons being taught to be able to join the royals at play.” The couple were invited as part of a “country pursuits” house party which Prince William hosts about once a yearin the familys retreat.
