Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, says he and his wife “could not be happier” after the duchess gave birth to a baby boy, at 16:30 UK time at St Mary’s Hospital, west London.
William was present at St Mary’s for the birth. The young parents spent time with their son before telling the news to their families and the world. (Continued)
The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby, St James’s Palace has confirmed. All the Members of the Royal Family and the duchess’s family, the Middletons, are delighted: “The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

Only six weeks after it went on display at the Buckingham Palace, more than 350.000 Visitors have come to see the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown, famously designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. More than 500.000 Visitors are expected until October 3rd, when the exhibition will close down.
For the Royal Collection at the Buckingham Palace this summer looks to be a record year. This will also benefit the Royal Wedding Charitable Gift Fund, which receives part of the admission and gives it to charities chosen by Prince William and Kate. (Continued)

Celebrity pals, family members from around the world, and a total of six ex-partners have been chosen to be among exclusive group who will be invited to the Royal Wedding. A total of 650 people were chosen to celebrate at the Palace: 50 guests received their invite directly from the Queen, 250 were invited by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, and 100 by the Middleton Family. William and Kate themselves have invited 250 of their friends and family. Only 300 of the guests will stay for the evening reception hosted by Prince Charles. (Continued)
